Old China: The Last Wooden House Village, Changbai Mountain

Okay, this should be the last China post for today. I did download a few additional videos which I will be watching tonight. Based on all this material I’ve been accumulating, I think I have a good idea now on how to describe a bow hunter in a medieval Chinese farming town, including regional terrain and a few sprinkles of mythology.

From the Youtube description: Gudingzi village (now renamed as JinJiang village) is located at Changbai Mountain area in the northeast of China. The village has a history of 400 years. Since the constructions in the village are all made of wood, Gudingzi village is preserved as the last wooden house village at Changbai Mountain.
